How can Worldwide Check help you?

With the Worldwide Check tool, you can check the position, traffic, Search Ads, difficulty, and effectiveness of a keyword in 60+ countries simultaneously. You can also add keywords for tracking in Keyword Monitor or Dashboard in different countries in 2 clicks (rather than adding them manually separately in each country).

This is especially useful for tracking brand search queries.

It is also convenient to check the traffic, position, and other indicators of the keyword in countries with the same language (English, Spanish, etc.).

Detailed overview of functions and data in Worldwide Check

The Worldwide Check tool is located in the ASO section in the "Tracking" subsection. Make sure the "All Tools" switch is turned on at the bottom of the menu.

You see the data for the application that is selected at the top. Add your app or your competitors' apps (you can add absolutely any app from the App Store or Google Play).

This is necessary in order to see the current positions of the selected application, as well as to be able to add keywords to the Keyword Monitor (a tool for collecting the semantic core and monitoring keywords).

Select country or countries and platform (for iOS applications).

Enter a keyword and click Explore.

In the table, you see a keyword with the following data for each country:

  • Traffic — This is the estimated number of users who search for this query daily in the selected country. This search volume is divided between organic results and ad displays. In ASO, the higher your app ranks in search results, the more potential traffic it can attract.

  • Complexity (CI) — A metric that shows the competition level for the search query. It helps you assess how many resources you need to improve your app's visibility for that keyword. The difficulty scale ranges from 0 (low competition) to 10 (high competition).

  • Effectiveness (KEI) — This indicator helps you choose keywords that bring maximum traffic with minimum competition.

    • Very High: The highest effectiveness for your app.

    • High

    • Medium

    • Neutral

    • Low: Minimal effectiveness, high promotion cost, few installs.

  • Search Ads (only for App Store) — The popularity of the search query in Apple Search Ads. Values range from 5 (unpopular query) to 100 (very popular query).

  • Rank — This shows your app's ranking for the keyword in search results for the selected country.

    • Green background: The app is in the top positions (1, 2, 3) for this keyword.

    • Red background: The system has not updated data for your app in more than 60 hours. Add keywords to Keyword Monitor for more up-to-date data.

  • Changes — How much your app's ranking for the keyword has changed compared to the previous day.

  • Updated — The last time the data for the keyword was updated.

Star icon - add a keyword to the Dashboard to the selected country (which you see above the keyword) in order to get the summary data on the application that interests you as quickly and conveniently as possible. Once the request is added, the star will be colored yellow.

Click on the top star to add the keyword to all selected countries in Keyword Monitor.

"+" Adding keywords to Keyword Monitor.

Keyword Monitor is a very useful tool for tracking keywords and collecting semantic core.

To add a keyword from any tool in Keyword Monitor, click "+". In the Worldwide Check tool, you will add the keyword in Keyword Monitor to the country you see above the keyword.

If the word has already been added, you will see a "tick" instead of a "+". Click the checkmark to remove the keyword from Keyword Monitor.

You can also select multiple countries at once and click on the blue "+" to add a keyword to multiple countries in Keyword Monitor at the same time.

Additional handy tools for quick work with the tool:

1. Use sorting to get the data you need quickly (click on the arrows next to the column name).

2. Translator

Turn on the "Translate" switcher to translate the keywords (to the language of your interface in ASOMobile).

3. Download Xls file: the ability to get data in the form of an Excel spreadsheet.
