The App Report delivers a comprehensive evaluation of your app and its competitors, covering all elements that impact discoverability and install performance. It analyzes search visibility scores, keyword rankings, ratings, reviews, update history, and country availability. It also reviews store metadata — including title, subtitle, description, category, price, keywords, icon, and screenshots — and benchmarks them against competitors. In addition, it provides download and revenue estimates, giving you a complete view of how your app is positioned in the market.

The App Report provides a detailed breakdown of your app and its competitors, covering all the core factors that influence search visibility and the number of downloads. By combining metadata review, market positioning, performance metrics, and actionable ASO tips, it enables informed, data-driven decisions for app growth.
Step-by-Step Instructions
Go to the App Report tool.
Select the country for which you want to retrieve data.
Click the "+Competitors" button to add competitors for analysis. You can search for competitors by name or paste the app link.
Select up to 5 competitors to display.
You can view the full report or go directly to one of the following sections:
1. Search Visibility in Selected Country
Shows the Search Visibility Score (1–100) for your app and competitors in the selected country, along with the number of ranked keywords in Top-1, Top-5, and Top-10 positions.
How it helps: Provides a quick snapshot of overall discoverability in search results. A higher score indicates stronger visibility, helping prioritize ASO improvements.
Click the View detailed app visibility in search button to open the ASO Dashboard tool for a detailed visibility analysis.
2. Number of Ranked Keywords Worldwide
Lists the total number of indexed keywords per country for your app and competitors.
How it helps: Shows how well your app is optimized globally and where competitors have broader keyword coverage. Highlights markets with untapped potential.
Click the View more details button to see detailed information with rankings distribution by top positions.
3. Ranked Keywords in the selected country
A list of keywords the app is indexed for. Users can find the app in search results using these keywords.
How it helps: Highlights high-value keywords driving visibility and reveals competitor search queries where rankings can be improved. Useful for expanding your keyword strategy or defending positions.
Click the View all keywords button to access more detailed information.
4. ASO Tips
Provides actionable recommendations for finding effective keywords, creating high-performing metadata, and analyzing results.
5. Title
Displays the app name exactly as it appears in the store for your app and competitors.
(If the character count is below the recommended range, it is highlighted in red. If it falls within the recommended range, it is highlighted in green.)
How it helps: Enables comparison of naming strategies, keyword usage, and branding. Helps identify competitors with stronger keyword integration or clearer messaging.
6. Subtitle
Shows the app subtitle from the store listing.
(If the character count is below the recommended range, it is highlighted in red. If it falls within the recommended range, it is highlighted in green.)
How it helps: Allows quick comparison of subtitle length, keyword inclusion, and clarity of value proposition. Highlights competitors using this field more effectively.
7. Description
Displays the full app description with character count and color-coded highlights.
(If the character count is below the recommended range, it is highlighted in red. If it falls within the recommended range, it is highlighted in green.)
How it helps: Makes it easy to see which descriptions competitors use. Allows comparison of tone, structure, and keyword density to identify optimization opportunities.
Click the Analyze description button to review competitor texts and see which keywords they use.
8. Icon
Displays the current app icon alongside competitors.
How it helps: Allows side-by-side comparison of visual styles, colors, and branding to assess which icons may attract more clicks.
9. Screenshots
Shows store listing screenshots for your app and competitors.
How it helps: Helps evaluate design quality, messaging clarity, and the use of persuasive elements such as captions and feature highlights.
Click the App store view button to see how the app’s store page appears in search visibility.
10. App Information
Lists general store details such as price, in-app purchase availability, and app size.
How it helps: Identifies differences in monetization models, technical footprint, and compatibility that can influence install rates.
11. Category Ranking
Shows the app’s position within its category in the selected country.
How it helps: Tracks competitive standing and measures the impact of ASO or marketing changes on rankings.
Click the View category ranking button to see a detailed breakdown by countries and categories.
12. Ratings and Reviews
Displays the average rating, number of reviews, and distribution across 1–5 stars.
How it helps: Shows how users perceive the app and helps determine the rating and review volume needed to stand out from competitors.
Click the View ratings & reviews history button to see a detailed breakdown of ratings and reviews over time.
13. Downloads
Provides estimated download volumes for your app and competitors.
How it helps: View estimated download volumes for your app and competitors to measure market size and see approximate installs competitors receive in different countries.
Click View detailed downloads to see a full breakdown by country and over time.
14. Revenue
Shows estimated app revenue.
How it helps: See estimated app revenue from search installs to assess competitor earnings and market profitability.
Click View detailed revenue to see a full breakdown by country and over time.
15. App Availability by Country
Lists all countries where the app is available.
How it helps: Reveals market coverage gaps and opportunities for localization and market entry.
Click View metadata by country to see the text metadata in all available countries.
16. Competitor Updates
Shows the most recent update dates for each competitor.
How it helps: Tracks release frequency and responsiveness, helping plan your own update schedule.
Click View metadata dashboard for all countries button to see competitors’ visual and text updates.
17. Similar Apps
List other apps that stores recommend alongside yours or competitors’.
How it helps: Shows on which app pages your app appears in recommendations and receives additional traffic, and also helps identify competitors.
Click the View similar apps history button to see which similar apps your app has been grouped with.
18. Download PDF Report
