Tracking changes in the application positions by search queries and creating a semantic core for a textual ASO
1) A convenient tool for tracking the current rankings of your app in search results.
2) In this tool, you will form your semantic core. All the keywords from other tools will be added to this list when you click on the "+" next to the keyword. You will see this list of keywords in the ASO Creator tool when creating the description for your application.
How can Keyword Monitor benefit you?
Thanks to accurate data on the potential traffic volume, complexity, and effectiveness for each query, as well as user-friendly tools (the ability to group queries, unload data from the system, and update information instantly), you can not only monitor the app position in the search results but also create an efficient textual ASO and conduct regular metadata iterations.
This is where you will form your semantic core by adding keywords from other tools.
The detailed overview of the Keyword Monitor functions and data.
Select the Keyword Monitor subsection in the ASO menu section. Please note that in this section, you will see the search queries that you added earlier manually or from other ASOMobile tools. This section looks like this:
You can add new search queries (separated by commas or by Enter) to the Keyword Monitor section at any time by clicking the Plus icon.
You can also add ASOMobile auto-suggestions.
At the top, you see all your app. You can switch between apps freely, select a country, and promptly receive data for each application.
The tool features:
1. The List data visualization
This method is the most convenient for tracking search query positions and creating a semantic core for your application.
To add a keyword to the chart, just tick the box ✔️ next to the keyword on the left.
If you want the chart not to be displayed, turn off the "Graph" switcher.
In the table, you will see the following data:
Traffic is the estimated number of users who search for this query daily in the selected country. This search volume is divided between organic search results and ad impressions. In the context of ASO, the higher the app's position in search results, the more potential traffic it can attract.
Traffic History – Click the history icon to view the traffic history for the selected period.
Complexity (CI) is an index of the search query's competitiveness. This metric shows the level of competition among apps for the given search query, helping to estimate the resources needed to increase the app's visibility for the keyword. The Complexity (CI) scale ranges from 0 (low competition) to 10 (high competition).
Effectiveness (KEI) is a metric that helps choose keywords that bring maximum traffic with minimal competition.
Very high: highest effectiveness for your app.
Low: minimal effectiveness, high promotion cost, few installs.
Search Ads (only for App Store) - the popularity of the search query in Apple Search
Ads. Values range from 5 (unpopular query) to 100 (very popular query).
Rank is the position of the selected app for the keyword in the search results for the specified country.
Green background for rank: the app is in the top positions for the query (1st, 2nd, 3rd place).
Red background for rank: the system has not updated the app's data for more than 8 hours. You can manually update the position to get more current data.
Changes - how the app's rank has changed compared to the previous day.
Trend - a chart of rank changes over the last 7 days.
Updated—the time when the keyword data was last updated. In this section, you can get up-to-date information on any keyword by clicking the update icon (a round arrow in the key line).
*Side toolbar:
The star adds a query to your account home page for you to quickly and conveniently receive the application summary data you are interested in. After the query is added, the star will turn gray.
The lightbulb is an additional suggestion that might be of interest to you.
The loupe is a detailed study of the search query information in Keywords Check.
The round arrow makes it possible to instantly get up-to-date data on the application positions for a given search query.
Data is updatedevery 8 hours for apps on the App Store and every 12 hours for apps on Google Play. If necessary, update your search query manually and check all data online.
The bin removes a search query from the list.
Click Translate Switcher to translate all keywords.
Additional tools are designed for your convenience:
Filter. By clicking on the filter button, you can filter search queries by the word you are interested in, traffic, complexity, efficiency, Search Ads, app position, app quantity. Filters are applied online.
Employ the sorting to quickly get the data you need.
The tool for grouping search queries
Create groups of keywords by highlighting them with a specific color.
To create a group, go to groups and select "Add new group".
Enter the name of the group, select a color and click "+". Here you can also edit the current groups.
Assign one of the groups to the keyword.
